The social networking phenomenon has morphed the entire system by which people communicate. Instant messages, text messages and e-mails allow vast amounts of information to flow quickly from one person to the next.
Networking tools such as Facebook, Twitter and Skype pride themselves on connecting people no matter how far apart they may be. These tools are wonderful when used correctly, but when abused, can humiliate, slander and deface individuals, institutions and organizations.
