ResLife Week has come to an end, and the residents of Birch are the champions. The events of the week included the cardboard boat regatta, an eating contest, tug of war, and the Rezzies.
Birch started slow, earning 4th place in the boat race, but started to gain momentum after finishing in 2nd place in Tuesday’s eating contest.
History was made as Galloway won the eating contest, their first winning event in the history of ResLife Week. Galloway 1st East placed 3rd in the overall scoring, which is Galloway’s highest score to date.
Birch came out on top during the tug of war that took place on Thursday.
The week’s festivities ended at the annual Rezzies film festival which featured films of all types, including music videos, drama, horror, and comedy. Birch earned two nominations for Best Actor and won Best Picture for their entry, “The Bored Identity.” ResLife Week 2014 was packed with excitement, laughs, and resident hall pride.
