Seniors reflect on basketball careers at MVNU

“My favorite game was when I got a triple double against Marian College, and we won the game. I had 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists,” Dawson said. “Being able to help my team out and win a big conference game.”

“My most memorable game was this year at Taylor University,” said Eickholt.

Eickholt hit a game-winning buzzer beater at the end of the second overtime to beat the Lady Trojans, who were then ranked 13th in the nation.

“My favorite memory as a Cougar was the entertainment on the bus rides home from far games,” Eickholt said.

“The most memorable game was this season playing at Taylor in a double overtime win,” said Jessie. “The team really played as one.”

“Favorite memory? The road trips with the girls are always so fun,” Jessie said. “However, going to Florida was probably the best memory I have. Especially waiting at the airport for hours playing random children’s games.”
